This was 2020, Coronavirus locked down clubs and festivals. Nevertheless, in a forest near you, some haven’t accepted the status quo. To them, dancing isn’t a weekly social routine but much more of a needed cure. They end up dancing under the moonlight.
If the recording pre-dates the situation, the lyrics come in just right but all the more poignant that singer Matt Bessa passed away since then. His vocals shine just about as much as the covers moonlight. Onur Ozman had Matt Bessa sort of poetically fade away with his reverse version that bears some underlying reminiscence of his turkish origins. A forest rave anthem of sorts.
